Changes to How We Plan Your Workouts

TL;DR; The Classic planning style will soon be fully upgraded with the Adaptive planning style, and the Plans tab will be removed.

--

Hi there, fellow Push Training runners!

Six months ago, we introduced the Adaptive planning style after listening closely to your feedback. This planning style will show your full weekly schedule at a glance along with today’s workout front and center.

You’re in control. Just tap the three dots on the weekly summary to adjust your preferences.

  • Pick which days of the week you want to work out
  • Set a preferred duration range for each workout
  • Get new workouts for the next week each Sunday at 5pm local time, or regenerate the current week's workouts right away

Where do I make the switch?

Currently, you can switch between Classic to Adaptive planning styles in the Profile tab, but this will soon be removed as we move to fully support more Adaptive planning styles features! We have a lot of improvements in the works, including adding new workout types.

Important: If you're in Classic mode and you have an active plan in the Plan tab, please complete or exit the plan before switching for the best experience!

What's happening to existing, multi-week structured plans?

We will be doing our best to continue to support existing multi-week structured plans, now called "Classic Plans," in this new Adaptive planning style. Those with active Classic Plans may have already noticed their Today tab starting to look more like the Adaptive planning style.

Important: The Plan tab will be removed in the future and will be replaced with a row in the Profile tab called "Manage Classic Plan". When a Classic Plan is active, you'll also be able to tap on the weekly summary near the top of the Today tab to access this view.

I like the daily recommendations in the Classic planning style. What if I still want daily recommendations?

You can still do this! With the Adaptive planning style, you can simply select each day of the week for a workout every day.

Thank you for being part of Push Training. Your feedback is what drives us. If you ever have thoughts, requests, or just want to share how your experience is going, you can send me an in-app message anytime.

Let's push!
